  • Clothing Swap - July 6th from 3:00 - 6:00

Join us at BLOC Foundation for a community clothing swap open to all sizes and genders! Bring your clean, gently used clothing and exchange it for something new to you. This free event is a great way to refresh your wardrobe sustainably while supporting our creative space. Bring and take as many clothing items as you’d like. The purpose of this event is sustainability and if you will wear it, take it! Any and all leftover clothing will be donated to Tony’s Place & the local women’s shelter.

We'll also have a donations table if you'd like to contribute to BLOC's ongoing community work.

  • Exhibition - September 5th from 6:00 - 8:00

    September Featured Artist: Brooke Walzel
    Curated by John Ross Palmer

This September, the gallery is proud to feature the evocative work of Brooke Walzel, selected by gallery owner and curator John Ross Palmer as part of his monthly artist spotlight series. Brooke’s paintings explore the delicate tension between memory and impermanence, capturing fleeting moments that hover between dreaming and remembering.

Influenced by artists like Alice Neel and Henri Matisse, her work embraces emotional honesty, expressive color, and the beauty of incompleteness. Her brushwork reflects the shifting nature of time and recollection: inviting viewers into a dreamlike space where feeling takes precedence over realism.

Experience the emotional depth and poetic nuance of Brooke’s work on display all month long, alongside the bold, contemporary pieces of John Ross Palmer in the main gallery.
